Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life

When I read the book, I realized that many of the problems we are experiencing in personal and professional relationships could be solved if we had the ability to communicate to others with empathy.

Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life
This is a wonderful book. It not only shares a beautiful philosophy of life and relationships based on empathy and compassion, but also teaches a practicle process for for more fully emplementing these into our everyday lives.
Changed my life
I'm a trainer certified with the Centre for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC.org) so I'm biaised, I admit it up front!
This book inspired me to be the change I want to see in the world by supporting a human needs consciousness. Whatever your peace and nonviolence philosophy (religious, spiritual or other) the consistent feedback I get is that this is the missing "how to" jigsaw piece.
You can read the first chapter for free here:

Great book
If there's onebook about 'empathy in practice' that immediately comes to mind, it's this one. Very interesting read! It will change the way you think about the language you are using.
The Language of Empathy
♥...as a student of #PersonalPower, the #PowerOfNow, Conversations with God, and #Transformation, I had the Philosophies down, but needed a delivery system that was more in alignment with my new Beliefs!
That's when I was introduced to NVC (The Language of Non-Violence), and it's been a Love affair ever since! I haven't stopped there, I've Synergized all of the above into #NonViolentPersonalPower, and the new verb is #Compassioning (The practical application of #Empathy)!
What a Gift!
I was blessed to have two weekend seminars with Marshall Rosenberg, and read the book after the first seminar. The practice of Nonviolent Communication has the power to end war. War within oneself, war with your family, and war between nations.
The concepts in this book gave me permission to have feelings, to own them, to express them in a way which would not escalate the conflict, and to translate other's actions and intense feelings into their underlying deep and beautiful needs.
a wonderful book
