An uplifting and entertaining film based on a true story of an unlikely relationship which highlights the very best of human nature. The reciprocal compassion and non-judgemental attitude between the carer and the cared for are inspiring.

It is funny, irreverent and a real 'feel good'. If you are feeling a bit jaded, this will make you laugh, cry and give you back the faith.

Wonderful movie. Shows 2 different characters who have their own prejudices of each other, are ready to open up and understand the other's 'world'. It ends up in them becoming very close friends.

Fantastic movie! One can experience the beauty of an unlikely friendship while empathizing with each of the characters. The viewer gets to see and understand the back stories of each person, not just the facade people display. Get ready to laugh and be moved as you enjoy the movie. This is one of my very favourite movies of all time!

a movie depicting true mutual respect and friendship, between two individuals who could have never met! Their relationship is so intensely authentic, driven by emotions, truth, honesty. Typical of people with a great sense of humanity, and emotional richness!

A beautiful demonstration of the human ability to find connection across a world of diversity- if we are open to the possibility. Infused with great humour and deep sadness, it is a compelling watch.
