Love, Hate and Everything in Between

This is a really interesting documentary that brings together some of the best empathy thinkers on the planet, containing interviews with people like neuropsychologist Simon Baron-Cohen, founder of the Roots of Empathy education programme Mary Gordon, and author of The Empathic Civilization Jeremy Rifkin. Although the word ‘empathy’ isn’t in the title, this is the subject of the whole film. Director Alex Gabbay believes that empathy is a potential solution to problems such as poverty, inequality and political violence, and sets out to make the case for a global empathy revolution.
