The multi-award winning film, The Witness, (not to be confused with the film Witness) is available on line, on the Tribe of Heart website (www.tribeofheart.org).

It is about how a man has his life changed forever after he was smitten by a kitten.

He goes on to find empathy for wild cats and other animals and campaigns against the fur trade.

Towards the end of the film, he takes his message to the streets of New York and one sees the expressions on the faces of New Yorkers and their reactions as they are given a reality check about the fur trade which he shows in film shown on the side of the vehicle that has been specially adapted for the purpose.

People who wear real fur need to recognize what it means for those who provide the furs, the original owners.   All fur coats are second-hand;  'new' fur coats are already second-hand, as their original owners have been slaughtered to provide them.   'Second-hand' fur coats are 'third-hand'.  

A civilized, peaceful world means empathy for all animals, whether of the human or non-human variety.
